Dorah’s Ark currently has close to 50 children living in the centre. The children all attend school and are involved in programmes developed by the centre to help them grow to become responsible adults.
Dorah’s Ark is a non-profit organisation that is always in need of food, clothing and financial help among other things.
The children attend Roodepoort Primary School, Durban Deep Primary School or Princess High School.
New Horizons Cycling Club partnered with Glomail and Quest Staffing services to deliver kiddies laptops and groceries to the centre which was graciously accepted by Dorah Mazibuko, the lady running the centre, as well as the kids. New Horizon’s cycling club are extremely humbled to assist this charity organisation and to be able to be in a position where they can give back to the less fortunate.
