Gaerne G.JET Road Shoes

The G.JET is Gaerne’s high-performance road shoe designed for riders who prioritise direct power transfer, secure fit and breathable comfort. Built on Gaerne’s G.PRO FIT last, the shoe offers a more tapered, racing-style shape that increases pedal sensitivity and keeps the foot stable during intense efforts. That focused fit is balanced by a comfort-engineered tongue and anatomical insole so that longer rides remain controlled rather than cramped.

Above the sole, the G.Frametex upper uses a dual-composite construction and precision laser perforations to combine structure with low weight and targeted ventilation. The upper’s design holds the midfoot in line with the pedal stroke, reducing energy loss from unwanted forefoot movement while the perforation pattern promotes airflow to help manage heat on long summer rides.

The INFIT CLOSURE SYSTEM 1.0 is governed by two BOA Li2 dials on asymmetric platforms, which allow independent micro-adjustment across differentiated zones. That zonal control reduces pressure points and makes it straightforward to fine tune the fit on the bike. An integrated anti-slip heel cup and an anatomical, quick-drying insole reinforce rear-foot stability and help maintain a consistent contact point for each pedal stroke.

Underfoot the GAERNE EPS Lightweight Full Carbon Sole 12.0 is engineered for uncompromised stiffness, with a stiffness index of 12 to ensure effective transfer of wattage to the pedals. The sole’s shape supports the plantar arch for added stability, includes four ventilation ports aligned with the insole, and accepts standard 3-bolt road cleats with an alignment scale for personalised positioning. The combination of a very stiff carbon sole and the secure, adjustable upper makes the G.JET suited to racers and committed club riders who want immediate power response without sacrificing ride-day comfort.
